Tokyo Sinfonia - a very Special Little Orchestra

Updated: May 1, 2020

Maestro Robert Rÿker established the Tokyo Sinfonia in 2006 to raise the standard of performance, encourage the next generation and develop new audiences for music. It's a truly unique orchestra performing at concert halls, dinner-concerts, in schools and for corporate events.

For almost 10-years, Calderwood Images has been providing photography services on a voluntary basis. During this time the orchestra has grown tremendously on an artistic level performing with numerous well-known soloists from all over the world. One special hallmark of Maestro Rÿker's approach is to bring the music, the musicians and the audiences together through social contact after each performance. Their Facebook Page contains a rich history of the after-concert photo albums showing the happy smiles of appreciative audiences & orchestra members.
